For roughly a year, I've been working on putting a computer in my car. When I first started driving, I went looking for ways to hook my mp3 player up to my car stereo and I came across mp3car.com after a bit of salivating I decided I had to put a computer in my car.
My car computer has a pretty hefty feature list, so heres what I've got.
- Music - Done
- Automatic music synchronization through WIFI - Done
- GPS navigation - Done
- In-car internet - Done
- In-car WIFI network - Done
- Ability to send computer commands through internet - Done
- Ability to send commands through instant message - Done
- Ability to send commands through text message - Done
- Ability to control electronics in the car (amplifiers, lights, etc) - Done
- Ability to control windows, door locks, and engine - Incomplete
- Ability to unlock doors, start engine with RFID tag - Incomplete
- RFID tag embedded in hand - Incomplete
- Garage door control - Done
